We're aiming to raise £60,000.00. So far we've raised £50,907.95.
The LEH Bursary Fund provides financial support to pupils who would otherwise be unable to take up their place at the school. It can make a transformational difference to the lives of others.
Thanks to generous donations to our Bursary Fund, we currently have 67 bright and brilliant pupils who receive financial support to make their places at LEH possible. As you know, at LEH, we challenge ourselves to be bold and brave and so, this year, we're aiming to raise even more.
There are still many deserving students we are unable to help. This year, we had more than 100 applications for bursary support and many of these pupils were excellent candidates who would have undoubtedly enriched our LEH community. We could only offer places to 13 new pupils this year, and this is something we want to change.
"I attended LEH from 1996 - 2003. I am from a single parent family and it would have been financially impossible for me to attend LEH without an assisted place. I am incredibly thankful I was given that opportunity. LEH set me up for life socially, mentally and professionally.
LEH was much more than a brilliant education. LEH gave me friends for life, the teachers nourished my sense of self belief and gave me confidence in my own abilities. The environment I was in and the people I was surrounded by gave me the chance to aspire to possibilities that I wouldn't have otherwise had and the school taught me the tools and gave me the confidence to make them happen."

LEH: Giving Back Since 1710
Giving Day is our biggest fundraising event of the year. For 1710 minutes - that's 28.5 hours - starting at 9am on Thursday 16th June, we'll be calling on our LEH community to help us raise much needed funds for bursaries to help us support even more pupils.
There are many ways to get involved. You can donate now, contribute towards the goals of our fundraising challenges, or bid for some of our fantastic auction promises which go live on Giving Day. We'd also love you to share your support for the LEH Bursary Fund and Giving Day 2022 on social media to help us spread the word and to encourage as much support as possible.

...because of the wonderful education that the School provided for our daughters and how it prepared them so brilliantly for their futures.
...due to the ethos of the school and the richness of the academic, cultural and sporting life on offer, and the desire to ensure this can be accessed by as many girls as possible.
...because I want the wonderful experience our daughter had open to others of equal talent.
...because LEH girls emerge from 6th form as individuals, not mass produced clones, who share key characteristics; openness, determination, focussed team players who are ready to make a contribution to the world in their chosen field.
...to help enable more girls enjoy the benefits of a fabulous LEH education, and to become 10% braver; it is important to us that the cost of LEH should not prevent any girl who is academically able from attending.
